As Head of Global Air Transport at XPO Logistics (and subsequently RXO Inc. when XPO split on the NYSE), Principal Eric Giangiordano created an entirely new "International/Heavy Lift" department directed by Russell Means. Within less than a year, the program successfully ran multiple Antonov An-124 heavy lift international charters for the first time in XPO's 10+ year history.
STRATAGEM Principal Eric Giangiordano and his operations team at XPO Logistics Global Air Transport were strategic advisors to Embraer on their development of the E190/E195 "P2F" freighter conversion program in 2021-2023 as that program developed, providing operations, technical, and other data to help support this exciting new narrow-body cargo freighter program.
STRATAGEM has successfully identified, captured and managed a variety of Government Ops-related revenue projects for clients such as this multi-year, fixed contract with the U.S. Marshals Service, JPATS division which provides special Ops air charter transport services domestically and internationally.
NAS Oceana - VF-101 "Grim Reapers" VIP Visit/F-14 Demo Flight with NASCAR Champion Brian Vickers. The VF-101 "Grim Reapers" squadron was officially disestablished or decommissioned just 4 months following this flight on 9/15/05 in an air show/ceremony at Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana; BuNo #164601 was subsequently flown on its final ever flight to CA for its permanent retired location – Castle Air Museum. The last two active duty Tomcat squadrons (VF-31 and VF-213) completed their combat mission tours on the USS Theodore Roosevelt by early 2006, marking the end of the legendary F-14 Tomcat fleet's operation by the U.S. Navy.

For example - in 2020, Fortune 200 transportation, logistics, and supply chain leader XPO Logistics recruited STRATAGEM Principal Eric Giangiordano to accept a dedicated role responsible for business development analysis, then elevated him to Head of Global Air Transport, responsible for re-development and authority over the corporation's entire domestic and international air solutions - including P&L, operations, marketing, and all other business functions. Within 12 months, the LOB was transformed organizationally and culturally, leading to all-time record financial metrics, Top 3 HR/employee ratings, and numerous "1st-ever" achievements by the team in the history of the company.
STRATAGEM has worked with clients to secure and manage U.S. Department of Defense, Commercial Airlift Review Board (CARB) certification. We've also directly managed RFI, RFQ and RFP contracting for BPA/IDIQ contract capture and post-award contract management for clients with the U.S. military branches and other DOD agencies including USTRANSCOM for air medical, special ops and other missions.

STRATAGEM Principal Eric Giangiordano was retained by a client to lead their fixed-wing contract capture, management and aircraft acquisition with award winning air medical transport consortium Boston MedFlight - including the operational, budgeting and maintenance modeling for the lease/purchase of their late-model King Air B200 and all associated multi-year legal contracts/negotiations between multiple parties.
STRATAGEM Aviation has designed numerous custom exterior paint/graphic schemes for prominent individual, corporate and fixed-contract clients; this Learjet 35A, one of the last 16 produced, was one of the first acquisition/upfit projects developed by our Principal some years ago for a corporate client, including its one-of-a-kind paint scheme. It has been frequently photographed, referenced online as one of the nicest looking Learjets in the world, and even emulated by other aircraft owners/paint shops!
EXTERIOR - Before/After: this transformational Learjet exterior redesign including the colors and marks was developed by STRATAGEM's Principal for AeroMD - the first/only USVI-based air ambulance company. Utilizing the client's primary logo with a combination of detailed paint and graphic accents, the project delivered a state-of-the-art result with greater flexibility, less expense and significantly reduced downtime than an entirely new paint job.
INTERIOR - Air Medical - Before/After: another transformational upfit project, STRATAGEM was tasked with designing and project managing a 145CRS' redo of a light jet's dated/worn interior to a like-new aesthetics, complete with custom 2-tone seats, sidewalls and various other details tailored to the client's specific operational needs.
STRATAGEM was one of the first companies to introduce QR code graphics on aircraft designs, facilitating additional marketing opportunities for viewers both in-person and online. Our Principal worked with a client on the lease/management of this particular Learjet owned by an NFL Hall-of-Fame player, and subsequently coordinated with that player's management to successfully divest the asset.
Our Principal has held executive roles developing and managing a variety of corporate charter programs and Part 91/125 flight departments for clients operating 30-50+ Pax aircraft such as the Dornier 328 and Embraer/Bombardier regional jets.
STRATAGEM has worked with Part 91, 125, 135 and 145CRS owners and operators to manage scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, pre-purchase, sale and upfit/update/mod projects on a diverse variety of turbine jet aircraft.

When IOPO (Indiana Organ Procurement Organization) set out in 2013 to create the country's newest and most advanced organ procurement air transport program, they turned to air medical leader Jet Logistics - a STRATAGEM client. Our Principal, Eric Giangiordano, led the contracting and early program launch of that partnership, as IOPO later became Indiana Donor Network and the companies launched TxJet - a dedicated division of their business to manage IDN's nationwide OPO transport program. Today, TxJet and JLI operate an advanced fleet of Citation CJ3 and Cirrus Vision jet aircraft dedicated to organ procurement.
A recent example of custom digital sales and marketing activations developed by STRATAGEM, this is a digital flyer and email sales platform developed for MRO client Jet MX ("Jet Maintenance"), an FAA Part 145CRS.

Our Principal Eric Giangiordano was a key architect of the launch and scale-up of the only all-new Part 135 cargo airline during the global COVID pandemic - Legends Airways. This was a clean-sheet program launch, from the carrier's acquisition and conversion of the largest fleet of Saab 340 mid-size aircraft through C&L Aerospace, to developing entirely new contract, business development, operations, and maintenance capabilities to operate this fleet across the United States, Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean.
